PARUNG PANJANG – BOGOR — Jejakkabar.web.id – Every Thursday morning, the whole school community of SDN Gintung 03 carries out an inspiring weekly programme called “Kamsihat”, meaning
“Healthy Thursday” — combining light exercise, caring for the environment, health reminders and building lifelong habits of cleanliness and wellness for all students. Located in Gintung Cilejet Village, Parung Panjang District.
Activities start promptly at 07:00 WIB: lining‑up neatly, doing group fitness exercises, sweeping the school grounds & tending to gardens, personal grooming checks, washing hands together — plus lessons on caring for one’s own health as well as keeping the school environment tidy. Pupils from Grade I all the way through Grade VI happily take part working together under guidance of their teachers, showing great enthusiasm and sense of responsibility.
Delivering his remarks, Principal of SDN Gintung 03 – Mr Aam Ambari, S.Pd. stated:
“This ‘Kamsihat / Healthy Thursday’ programme exists so we all truly understand, a clean school means a healthy school; strong bodies mean greater enthusiasm for learning!
Simple habits — taking care of yourselves, keeping our grounds tidy, throwing rubbish where it belongs, doing gentle exercise — we practise all these so they naturally become part of who you grow up to be.”
“Grow up to be children who are neat, clean, healthy, strong, helpful to others — and always caring about our surroundings.
Keeping our school clean is everyone’s shared responsibility,” he added warmly yet firmly.
The atmosphere is full of togetherness: teachers lead by example, students work side‑by‑side — making the school beautiful, green, comfortable and a wonderful place to learn.
It is hoped these good habits will not stop at school: students will carry them home to their families, and eventually share them far and wide throughout their communities.
